Since its start back in 2009, Lingvista has gained solid experience in the area of international business cooperation. Such experience is worth to be shared! We are pleased to present a series of business meetings for exporting companies from Tomsk (not only), dedicated to some aspects of foreign economic activity. The first event was held last week, with Lingvista as one of its co-organizers.
Translation and interpretation, IT-technologies, equipment and consumer goods, organization of business trips – what’s common in all the mentioned fields? Undoubtedly, it is export orientation, aiming for the global market, as well as product and service presentation for the foreign audience. But what’s the first step in this direction? How do exporters get governmental support and gain the confidence to go on further in the international market? This business activity inspired exporters from Tomsk to organize a series of monthly meetings dedicated to the topic. The first meeting took place on the 24th of November in a place called “Stroganina Bar” located in Tomsk.
Lingvista was one of the co-organizers of the business lunch. Its subject covered various support opportunities for those who aim for export, and their practical usage. Around 20 interested participants joined the event, including active exporting businessmen, entrepreneurs going to bring their services and goods abroad, as well as authority representatives specializing in the support of foreign economic activity. The speakers shared their own real experience in the international cooperation, as well as in recovery of business trips expenses and the most effective ways to use the opportunities offered by governmental funds and institutions (such as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry). The representatives of Lingvista and Smart Business Trips also presented their cases.
The format of a business lunch offers genuine atmosphere for exchange of ideas and opinions, and also for lively discussions and easy communication. Exporters have much to discuss, don’t they? As a result, a few possible subjects were selected for the next meeting taking place on the 15th of December at 12:30 AM.
By the way, the event can be defined as international, not just meant for participants from Tomsk or even Russia.
