Year in Review: 2025

31.12.25

The outgoing year 2025 was far from ordinary and truly multifaceted. It will be remembered not only for innovations and challenges, but also for engaging projects and new achievements.

Let us look back at what made 2025 a remarkable year for Lingvista team.

Key Trends

–  English continued to lead in terms of translation requests.
–  There was consistently high demand for translations from German, Chinese, French, Italian, and other languages.
–  Among relatively rare languages requested during the year were Albanian, Hebrew, Polish, Catalan, and others.
–  Translation of personal and medical documents, notarization of translations, apostille services, and consular legalization remained in strong demand.
–  We actively worked on long-term projects, including interpreting in the Russian–Chinese language pair for the woodworking industry. We also continued to support our long-standing partners from Italy by providing interpreters in various cities.

Key Projects and Achievements

• Interpreting
We provided consecutive and simultaneous interpreting at a wide range of events—from university webinars to business negotiations in various cities across Russia and abroad (including China, Kazakhstan, and other countries).

• Written Translation
Our projects included the translation of technical documentation, books, sports regulations, presentations, labels, websites, and corporate policies.
We translated equipment manuals and technical documentation for the oil & gas and mining industries, a children’s fairy tale from Russian into Korean (North Korean dialect), and completed the translation of a book from Russian into English with the involvement of a native speaker.

Notarization, Apostille, and Consular Legalization

We established a sustainable solution for notarizing translations from multiple languages. One of our in-house specialists completed professional retraining and obtained the right to notarize translations to and from a wide range of languages (a separate publication lists all available languages).
In addition, we successfully completed consular legalization of documents for Kuwait.

New Areas of Development

1. We began exploring the field of artificial intelligence and worked on transcription projects for AI training in Bashkir and Tatar.
2. We launched a Russian-language conversation club for foreign guests of Tomsk.
3. We established a payment infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan to accept payments from our international clients.

Partnerships

We built cooperation with new notaries and expanded our partner network to include travel agencies, legal firms, and manufacturing companies. We continue to actively collaborate with Tomsk universities by hosting interns, participating in industry events and examination boards, and providing interpreters upon request.

We sincerely thank our clients, partners, and translators for their trust and cooperation in 2025. New projects and achievements lie ahead. We look forward to 2026 and the opportunities it will bring!
