What inspires us to choose a translator’s profession? That’s our interest in foreign languages, a wish for learning new cultures and an aspiration for self-realization. One of our latest projects was especially creative: we completed the translation of a book called “Marketing Girl” written by Ruslan Galka.

Last week, our colleagues Maria Solonina (General Director) and Olga Kadochnikova (Business Development Manager) made a business trip to Moscow. The purpose of the travel was an on-site training in major translation companies. As a result, Lingvista met two of the leading Russian market players – AKM-West and TransLink.
Last week, the city of Tomsk became a venue for the I Congress “Healthcare of Russia. Technologies of Accelerated Development”. An exhibition which was devoted to medical devices, innovative medical technologies and drugs took place within the congress.

At the beginning of October, Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building held an international conference called “Perspective Materials in Equipment and Construction”. Professor Tetsuo Mohri of Tohoku University (Japan) was invited as a guest speaker.

New week brings new challenges. The list of our working languages has been supplemented with the Bashkir language. Once again, Lingvista completed the translation of printed materials with desktop publishing.
Our colleagues within a single day offered us two demo records of the professional Turkish speakers. The final audio file was delivered exactly at the specified time. Lingvista also provided us translator’s assistance for video-editing process.
